Friendship is Trippin' Bawls

It's been a while again since my last pic but oh well.
This one was meant to be a birthday present but I didn't manage to deliver it until 2 weeks after the proper event. But I guess it's better late than never and 'tis the thought that counts, right?

Anyway, I got the idea for this pic during a chillsession with some of my Psychology coursemates, when one of the guys started drawing on this girl's (who was the recipient of the finished picture) arm. The dude is a brony so naturally he drew one on her and we started thinking what else could be added there. Someone came up with the idea of a unicorn pony and she almost squee'd at the idea so there was that. Over the course of the evening my artsy stuff came into discussion as well so that's how I got the inspiration for what you see now. I drew this partially because I was too broke to be able to afford a decent present and partially because I really needed a reason to draw, so...yeah.

I feel like I should've added some more details (like colouring the mane and the cap) and used more red but when I showed it to my "advisor" he said that it's fine the way it is and adding more stuff would mess with the contrast and cluttering the image. I did, however glue the finished piece to a larger piece of white paper, giving it a nice framing.
